Lockdown Officer and Lockdown Dispatch mobile apps · Effective August 21, 2026
These apps are workforce tools for employees and office staff of Lockdown Security ("the company"). They are published by MJAPPS LLC and operated by the company for scheduling, timekeeping, credential compliance, and incident reporting. They are not consumer apps: accounts are created by the company for its personnel.
What the apps collect
- Work profile — your name, badge number, phone number, and security credential records (e.g. PERC/FCC status), maintained as employment records.
- Profile photo (optional) — if you choose to add one, the photo you upload is sent to Google's image service to make a studio version of it (the same you, a plain backdrop, a suit) and to Anthropic's service to check that the result is a faithful likeness. Neither keeps your photo or trains on it, and no facial recognition or face template is involved. Camera details and any location stored inside the photo file are removed first. The studio version is shown to dispatch — and, where the company chooses, to its clients — only after you and the office have both approved it; your original upload is never shown to anyone and is deleted when the process ends. You can replace or remove your photo at any time, and the company can remove it.
- Location — your device location is captured when you clock in, clock out, or scan a patrol checkpoint, to verify presence on post. While you are clocked in, and only then, the Officer app also shares your location with dispatch in the background — about every five minutes on post, and every minute once a reading falls outside the site's geofence — so the office knows you are at the site and stayed there. This needs the phone's "Always" location permission (Android: "Allow all the time"); the app explains it before the phone asks, and you can decline — dispatch is then told the shift is not sharing, and you are never blocked from clocking in. Sharing starts at clock-in and stops by itself at clock-out; the app never reads your location while you are off the clock. Readings are shown only to the company's office staff, are never sold or shared with anyone else, and are kept for the period the company sets (90 days by default) before they are deleted.
- Photos and video you attach — incident report media and photos of credential cards you submit for renewal.
- Messages — texts between you and dispatch through the company's messaging number.
- A push notification token for your device, so dispatch can reach you about shifts and alerts.
The apps collect no biometrics (no facial recognition, no face templates), no contacts, no advertising identifiers, and include no ads, analytics, or third-party tracking.
How it's used
Solely to run the company's security operations: filling and confirming shifts, recording worked time for payroll, meeting Illinois licensing requirements, and keeping incident records. Time and wage records are retained as required by employment law.
Sharing
Data is never sold and never used for advertising. It is processed by the service providers the company uses to operate (SMS delivery, Apple/Google push notification services, cloud file storage, and — only if you choose a studio profile photo — Google's image generation and Anthropic's image-check services), acting on the company's instructions. Incident reports concerning a client's site may be shared with that client.
Security
Data moves over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and access is limited by role.
Questions and requests
For questions, corrections, or deletion requests, contact the Lockdown Security office at ldsllc@lockdownsecurity.org. Note that some records (e.g. time and wage records) must be retained for legally required periods.
